Core Programs

Case Management and Client Service Plans ~ Case managers advocate and work with clients to evaluate the root causes of their circumstance. Success plans are created with achievable goals that work towards sustainable employment and permanent housing.

Emergency Shelter ~ Food, shelter and programmatic support are provided to homeless individuals and families. An average stay is approximately 90 days.

Anchor House ~ Transitional housing for families.

Willow House ~ A programmatic housing program that provides permanent, supportive housing for five women.

Homeless Prevention ~ Support offered to prevent eviction, including financial assistance for utility bills, rent, transportation, and the purchase of emergency medicine.

Food Program ~ Distribution of hot lunches, bagged lunches, and pantry bags for community members in need. Daily Market providing perishable and non-perishable foods.

Employment Resource Center ~ Career counseling, assistance with resume writing, interviewing skills, G.E.D. preparation and access to computer/electronic resources provided by professionals and volunteers.

Building Employment Success Training Program (BEST) ~ Job skills training and paid internships in the areas of Culinary Arts, Facilities Maintenance and Landscaping  and Data Entry. Job coaches, mentors and employer partners are key elements of the success of this program.

Financial Literacy Program ~ Volunteers provide financial literacy training and mentoring to help clients budget and manage their finances. Clients are required to save 80% of their income for future housing needs.

Alumni Center ~Staff, volunteers and former residents provide support and assistance to clients as they transition and maintain self-sufficiency. It also provides opportunities for former residents to stay involved with, and continue to benefit from the services and activities offered to current clients.  

Outreach Program - provides services for those who are not eligible for residency such as food, laundry, showers, counseling and referral for needed services.
