How to Volunteer

This shows how to volunteer for various needed items and work

Become a Volunteer: Your service as a volunteer is greatly appreciated and we have many ways for you to serve:

· Schedule and prepare meals at the shelter for the residents · Help serve meals on days you have scheduled · Help organize the pantry and prepare food bags for the needy families · Fold laundry · Staff shelter on weekends

Volunteer Training: We have a short training program which prepares you for your volunteer service. For example, meal preparation volunteers receive handouts in food handling and food safety as well has how to go through the entire process from cooking to serving.

How To Volunteer: Please call or come by our Light House facilities to find out how you may help.

Call: 410-263-1835 (Office), 410-263-1966 (fax)

Location: The Light House is located at: 206 West St., Annapolis, MD 21401

And thank you for volunteering… we appreciate all the help we can get.
